As mentioned on the architecture mailing (https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-architecture/message/2239) as well as during the FOSDEM OE BoF, I want to create a layer that gathers popular AI bits and is maintained as a community layer. Qualcomm is willing to sponsor my time and CI resources.
Like containers have been, AI is a big gap in the current OE ecosystem that would benefit from coordinated action. Before going off and doing things, I’d like to get input from as much people as possible on what they wants this layer to do and not do.
